Water-Efficient Vegetable Gardening Workshop

It's time to roll up your sleeves and get those hands dirty!

Learn how to reduce water needs in your garden by growing seasonal edible vegetables to harvest all summer long.  This workshop will also cover how to incorporate organic maintenance techniques into seasonal vegetable gardening such as using organic compost and cover crops.  

Remember to dress for the elements, bring your gloves and be prepared to take home your planting!  Light refreshments will be provided.

About the instructor
Deva Luna is a horticulturist and principal designer with EarthCare Landscaping, a Master Gardener, lecturer, certified Greywater Installer and Bay-Friendly Landscape Designer.  Ms. Luna specializes in sustainable and water-efficient landscaping with the use of native plants, appropriate irrigation technologies and hardscape techniques.  She has a degree in “Plants and Art” from the UC Davis, as well as continuing studies in Permaculture, Landscape Design, and Edible Gardening.
