Antiquarian Book Valuation Clinic

Saturday, April 7, 2018

What are old books actually worth? Join us for a practical valuation clinic.

The Friends of the Menlo Park Library present a special opportunity for you to hear about the process of appraising and valuing old books, and a chance for you to find out the value of a book from your own collection!

Bruce MacMakin of auction house PBA Galleries will conduct a clinic on valuing antiquarian and collectible books. Members of the public are invited to bring up to three books or manuscripts (no magazines, postcards or memorabilia, please).

No books will be accepted for consignment, but you'll learn a lot about the current market for collectible books.
