Menlo Park Public Works Bids
The City of Menlo Park will accept informal bids for the Carlton Avenue, Monte Rosa Drive, and North Lemon Avenue Traffic Calming Avenue project. The work to be done consists, in general, of installing asphalt concrete speed humps and speed tables, removing existing speed humps and tables, transporting City-furnished concrete planters from the City’s corporation yard, installing new striping and pavement marking and markers, installing new traffic signs and poles, removing and replacing existing striping, pavement marking and markers and other incidentals as necessary to complete the work on North Lemon Avenue and Monte Rosa Drive in the City of Menlo Park; all as specified in the Special Provisions.

A valid Class A or Class C-12 license is required for this Project. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed according to Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professional Code. Specialized services shall be performed by contractors licensed in the appropriate classifications. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed or be awarded a contract on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Cal. Labor Code § 1725.5.
