BID - Sand Hill Reservoirs: Cleaning, Inspection and Mixer Installation Project
Menlo Park Public Works Bids
The City of Menlo Park will accept sealed bids for construction of the following public work Sand Hill Reservoirs: Cleaning, Inspection and Mixer Installation Project. The work to be done consists of professional services to clean and inspect two (2) drinking water reservoirs and furnish and install two (2) new turnkey submersible water mixing systems (one for each of the two drinking water reservoirs) together with all drives, motors, controls, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) outputs, solar panels with backup power batteries, control center cabinet and programming of the programmable logic controller (PLC), and updating of the alarm program and accessories and other incidentals as necessary to complete the work shown on the plans and as specified on these special provisions.

A valid Class A license is required for this project. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed according to Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professional Code. Specialized services shall be performed by contractors licensed in the appropriate classifications. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed or be awarded a contract on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
Copies of the prevailing rate of wages can be obtained from the Menlo Park Public Works Department, located in the City Hall Administrative Building at 701 Laurel St. Sealed bid proposals will be received at the Administration Building until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
