RFP - Middle Avenue Pedestrian and Bicycle Rail Crossing Study
Menlo Park Requests for Proposals and Qualifications
The City of Menlo Park is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering consulting firms to assist the City with the Middle Avenue Pedestrian and Bicycle Rail Crossing Project. The purpose of the project is to develop concepts and preliminary designs for a grade separated pedestrian and bicycle crossing of the Caltrain tracks in Menlo Park near the intersection of El Camino Real and Middle Avenue. The work includes, but is not limited to, an analysis of existing and future conditions, community engagement, development of crossing alternatives (under- and over-crossing options), conceptual construction drawings for the preferred alternative and environmental clearance as described herein. The ideal consultant will possess demonstrated experience in transportation planning, public outreach, civil engineering design and CEQA documentation.
