The City of Menlo Park invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bid proposals for the Sand Hill Road Traffic Signal Modification.
The work to be done consists of mobilization and traffic control, furnishing and installing combination Type III Service/Battery Back-up cabinet assemblies, constructing Portland cement concrete foundation, furnishing and installing pedestrian pushbutton poles with new pedestrian pushbutton assemblies, furnishing and installing new pedestrian pushbutton assemblies to replace non-ADA compliant pedestrian pushbutton assemblies, furnishing and installing LED pedestrian signal head assemblies (with countdown timer), replacing 8” traffic signal heads with 12” traffic signal heads, replacing existing video detection systems, and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready to use, all as shown in the plans and described in the project specifications.

A valid Class “A” OR C10-Electrical- license is required for this Project. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed according to Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professional Code. Specialized services shall be performed by contractors licensed in the appropriate classifications.
