The City of Menlo Park will accept sealed bids for the Hydration Station Improvement Project. The scope of work consists of removing and replacing, thirty-eight (38) existing water fountains with new bottle filling units (e.g., hydration stations.) Project sites span various city facilities and public rights-of-way including buildings, parks, and sidewalks (along Santa Cruz Avenue).

A valid Class A or B license is required for this project. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed according to Cal. Bus. and Prof. Code § 7000 et seq. Specialized services shall be performed by contractors licensed in the appropriate classifications. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed or be awarded a contract on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Cal. Labor Code § 1725.5.

A non-mandatory meeting for interested bidders will be held at City Hall, 701 Laurel St., Menlo Park, CA 94025 on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Any contractors interested in submitting bids for this project are encouraged to attend.
