SamTrans has added new service to the existing Route 81 to connect to the Belle Haven neighborhood and East Palo Alto, providing residents with a transit connection to Menlo-Atherton High School. This change is part of regular updates to SamTrans routes and schedules seeking to increase the efficiency and reliability of SamTrans’ service. Youth basketball winter league returning to the Arrillaga Family Gymnasium

Menlo Park’s winter youth basketball program for boys and girls, grades 3 through 8, will hold sign-ups through local schools through October. Participating schools include Corte Madera, Encinal, Hillview, Kennedy, La Entrada, Laurel, Nativity, Oak Knoll, St Raymond’s, Synapse, Phillips Brooks and Woodside. Peninsula Clean Energy is again offering a popular electric vehicle (EV) discount program that saves thousands of dollars for San Mateo County residents through a partnership with seven participating local auto dealers. The program combines guaranteed savings from dealerships with Peninsula Clean Energy rebates of $1,000 for all-electric cars or $700 for plug-in hybrids.
