Did you know Menlo Park is one of the few cities in the area to offer residents and nonresidents an annual tennis key which grants them access to city tennis courts. With 15 courts at five sites hosting over a dozen class offerings in any given season and hundreds of tennis keys sold each year, we know that tennis is a valued part of our community. Little Free Libraries are “take a book, return a book” free book exchanges popularized by the nonprofit organization Little Free Library. They typically take the form of a small wooden box of books mounted on a post in front of a home or business where passersby can easily access the books. Menlo Park reminds customers to call 811 before digging

Safety officials remind everyone to always Call 811 before excavating or digging of any kind. A simple call to 811 can prevent cut lines, damaged infrastructure, power outages, costly fines and in some cases, serious injury. Every six minutes in the U.S., an underground utility line is damaged because someone started digging without first calling 811. Come one, come all to the annual Summer Camp Fair Friday, March 1, from 6–8 p.m. at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center.
