Traffic calming measures coming to the Marmona Drive area

Work on new speed humps and additional traffic calming measures starts this week in the Marmona Drive area of the Willows neighborhood. On September 11, 2018, following the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) Level II process, the City Council approved the installation of traffic calming measures on Baywood Avenue, Clover Lane, Blackburn Avenue, McKendry Drive and Marmona Drive for a six-month trial period. Caltrans plans overnight closures of Willow Road and U.S. 101

Caltrans has scheduled five overnight closures of Willow Road and U.S. Highway 101, as part of the Willow Road/U.S. 101 Interchange project. The closures will allow crews to install 135-foot concrete girders for the new overpass. During the following closures, affected lanes of Willow Road will be closed 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. All closures are dependent on the weather. Rainy weather may cause work to be rescheduled. Application open for the Menlo Park Grant for the Arts

The City is now accepting applications for the 2019-20 Menlo Park Grant for the Arts (MPGA). The grant is for organizations looking to perform in a professional-grade theater in effort to support the Menlo Park artistic community. We are pleased to announce that 10 organizations will be awarded $500-$3,000 toward subsidizing the rental cost of the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center (PAC) for performances from July 2019 to June 2020.
