Ravenswood Avenue Railroad Crossing study will have a Study Session for the City Council at their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. Please note the earlier start time of 6:00 p.m. for the Study Session. Staff will present a summary of the comments received on the draft project study report and the draft scope of work for additional studies.

Please join us to hear about this important project and to provide your feedback to help the City Council provide direction to staff on next steps. The agenda and staff report can be found on the City’s webpage.

This project is evaluating the engineering feasibility of replacing the existing at-grade crossings of the Caltrain tracks by building grade separations of the roadways from the tracks at Ravenswood Avenue, Oak Grove Avenue and Glenwood Avenue, with priority on Ravenswood Avenue.

This City Council meeting is a significant milestone for this project as it will determine the preferred alternative that will move forward into the environmental study and final design phase that will allow the City to construct a grade separation project to best address the community’s concerns and needs.

Please visit the project webpage for more information about the project and information from previous public meetings.
