Midday city shuttle service temporarily suspended

The M1-Menlo Midday Shuttle will be temporarily suspended due to staffing issues with the shuttle operator beyond our control. The last day of service will be Friday, August 31, 2018. Midday city shuttle service temporarily suspended

Caltrain beginning brake testing for new control system

On Friday, August 24, Caltrain began brake testing from Menlo Park to Santa Clara as part of the Positive Train Control (PTC) Project. The nature of the test is to run the train uphill, level, and downhill to test the enforcement of a stop on the train by the PTC system. The test train will run at night during nonrevenue service hours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for several weekends. Battery and cell phone proper disposal starts Sept. 3

Starting Monday, September 3, 2018, residents in single-family homes can place household batteries and cell phones in a clear zip lock bag and place it on top of your black garbage cart for pickup on your regular collection day.
