Reminder: Fireworks are prohibited in Menlo Park

As the July 4th holiday approaches, the Police Department reminds local residents and visitors that all forms of fireworks and gunfire are strictly prohibited in Menlo Park. This includes “safe and sane” fireworks, as the potential for fires is extremely high due to hotter temperatures along with dry grass and brush. Complete Streets Commission to review Belle Haven traffic calming plan

Residents are invited to join the Complete Streets Commission meeting, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 7 p.m. at the Senior Center Ballroom to review the Draft Belle Haven Traffic Calming Plan and implementation process. The Plan will recommend traffic calming measures in an effort to alleviate the cut-through traffic in the Belle Haven neighborhood, including Chilco Street, Ivy Drive, Newbridge Street and Terminal Avenue. Downtown parking improvements underway 

Parking improvements are now underway in downtown Menlo Park including upgraded parking meters, restriping of lots and accessible ramp additions. The first round of parking meter upgrades have already started. Plaza 1 now has four parking meters, including three upgraded parking meters. Plaza 5 has two parking meters, including one upgraded meter. The upgraded parking meters feature colored LCD screens and an easy to use interface for an enhanced downtown...Click to continue

Menlo Park municipal water quality report now available 

Each year the City-run water provider, Menlo Park Municipal Water, produces an annual consumer confidence report on water quality conditions for the previous calendar year. The updated water quality report contains a summary of water quality sampling results and other important information. Bring the entire family downtown July 4, 2018, for the City of Menlo Park’s Annual Fourth of July Parade and Celebration! The parade starts at 11:45 a.m. on Chestnut Street next to Wells Fargo. Come dressed in red, white and blue and decorate your bike or wagon to participate in this fun-filled people parade!
