Main Library Siting Meeting #3

Community members are invited to give their input on the location and uses of a new Main Library on the Burgess Campus. We will continue the conversation from the December and January meetings regarding the best site on the campus for a potential new library, and additional civic and community uses that could be included with the project. Advisory Districting Committee plans final meetings

With just under two weeks before the Advisory Districting Committee’s final deadline to submit its recommendations, the Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018, at the Menlo Park Senior Center. As part of the agenda, the Committee will discuss the most recently submitted draft district boundary maps and hear additional public comment before selecting its final “focus” maps. Belle Haven Child Development Center visits Belle Haven Elementary

The teachers at the Belle Haven Child Elementary school hosted a collaborative meeting with the lead teachers of the Belle Have Child Development Center. The purpose of the meeting was to share thoughts, exchange ideas and help each program learn what happens at the individual facilities. As the Child Development Center focuses on kindergarten readiness, the elementary school teachers were able to provide insight and suggestions on what types of skill building the preschool teachers...Click to continue

New Caltrain station area map

New wayfinding signage has recently been posted at the Menlo Park Caltrain Station on the north side of the historic stationhouse. This full detailed, colored map replaces the one that has dutifully served the station over the last few years. This map will help commuters and first-timer visitors to the City navigate the station and local area. This will facilitate transit and shuttle connections along with showing nearby attractions such as downtown and the Civic Center. For those keen-eyed observers...Click to continue
