Menlo Park to transition from Blackboard Connect to SMC Alert Emergency Alert System

The City of Menlo Park is transitioning its Emergency Alert System (EAS-which includes Reverse 911 notifications) alerts from Blackboard Connect to San Mateo County Alert System (SMC Alert.) This transition will place Menlo Park in line with other community and special districts in San Mateo County under one EAS. The transition will be finalized Sept. 17, 2017. SamTrans released draft recommendations that would address traffic congestion and create new mobility alternatives along the Dumbarton Corridor between Alameda County and San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. New Restaurant Coming to Menlo Park

A new restaurant, Starfish Menlo Park, has applied for a building permit to renovate and occupy the existing commercial building at 1165 Merrill Street. The site is directly adjacent to the Menlo Park Caltrain station, and is located across the street from the Station 1300 development, which is intending to start primary construction soon.
