Recruitment for commission terms expiring this April is already underway. 12- Month lease ordinance in effect

Menlo Park's 12- Month lease ordinance took effect this past Monday, March 6, 2017. City Council unanimously approved the 12-month lease ordinance (Ordinance 1023, Title 8, Chapter 53), Nov. 9, in efforts to minimize displacement and foster stability for landlord and tenant relationships. Water supply restored back to Hetchy Hetchy

In late-December 2016, the Menlo Park Municipal Water Department (MPMWD) wholesaler, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), temporarily changed the source of our typical water supply from the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir and began delivering water from local surface reservoirs along the Peninsula. Trash found on streets can be a problem in some areas of the City. During rain events, trash found on surface streets flows into the City’s storm drains causing potential blockages in the pipes.
