State moves San Mateo County back to Red Tier of reopening as COVID-19 cases rise

San Mateo County falls back to the more restrictive red Tier 2 effective Tuesday, November 17, 2020. This is in reference to the state’s COVID-19 reopening plan, which limits indoor dining as well as capacity and other limits are placed on businesses and activities. It’s likely that flu viruses and the virus that causes COVID-19 will both spread this fall and winter. This means getting a flu vaccine during this year is more important than ever. Menlo Flats project enters environmental review scoping phase

On November 16, the city released the Notice of Preparation (NOP) and Initial Study for the proposed Menlo Flats project, located at 165 Jefferson Drive. Small Property Owner Grant requirements revised, application period ends Nov. 25

The Small Property Owner Assistance program established to assist residential property owners impacted by COVID-19 has reduced some application requirements and extended the application deadline to Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Great Plates Delivered program extended to Dec. 8

San Mateo County’s Great Plates Delivered program that provides delivery of nutritious meals from 60 local restaurants to 1,298 qualifying County residents has received additional funding and will continue until December 8, 2020.
