San Mateo County provides $2 million for emergency immigrant relief

Local residents who do not qualify for state or federal assistance due to their immigration status are particularly vulnerable to the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors recently voted to provide $2 million to the San Mateo County Immigrant Relief Fund. New roadway infrastructure improvements coming soon

High temperatures, extreme dryness and record-high winds have created conditions in our state where any spark at the wrong time and place can lead to a major wildfire.
