June 9 public hearing set for upcoming fiscal year 2020-21 city budget

The City Council will meet at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, for its regular meeting, including the annual public hearing on the budget. This year, the city manager’s proposed budget is balanced, while showing a General Fund expenditure of $56.70 million, a decline of $13.77 million (19.6 percent decrease), year-over-year. Virtual recreation classes come to Menlo Park

Registration for online classes is now open! Menlo Park staff have been working diligently to bring recreation online, so that you and your family can attend classes from the safety of your own home. Classes offered include Zumba, Yogalates, Kidz Love Soccer, Volleyball, Jazzercise, Spanish for kids, mindfulness and more! Board of Supervisors temporarily suspends reusable bag ordinance

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors adopted Emergency Regulation 2020-003 that suspends the charge for reusable and paper bags.
