Classes being offered include Zumba, Yogalates, Kidz Love Soccer, Volleyball, Jazzercise, Spanish for kids, mindfulness and more! Visit our Menlo Park Virtual Rec to see the full list of classes being offered.

If you have any questions about how to use Zoom, please visit their FAQ page. We recommend downloading the app ahead of time and getting familiar with it if you’ve never used it before. In addition, we have trained staff prepared to assist you if needed. For questions, please email city staff.

Highlight: Music brings the community together

Memorial Day festivities this year with Shelter-in-Place order was very different than years past. Usually the Menlo Park Senior Center would host a festive barbeque event for the seniors, with dancing and music. However, this year due to current situation, this was not possible. So when a local community group organized a free concert by Belle Haven’s own Lepulu Family Band at Mid Pen’s Willow Senior Apartments, the Senior Center staff was at hand to let the residents know how much they are missed and loved. Over 85 festive red packages were carefully put together by staff and contained free masks, coloring pencils, coloring pages, and resource information for seniors. Seniors felt loved as they enjoyed hanging out and dancing on their balconies while the band played, and after they had a package filled with fun to enjoy.
