Mystery Readers Group: Medieval Mysteries
Wednesday, January 20, 2021
This month, we'll discuss mysteries set within the years 1066-1485, when things were... different.
In the medieval world, there were no national police and few local law forces. The only law was often the local ruler or king.
The investigators in the mysteries tended to be medical practitioners, the clergy, or someone assigned by the local ruler.
We'll discuss books by authors including Sharan Newman, Cora Harrison, Candace Robb, Pat McIntosh and many more. Do you have any favorites to share? Join us!
The Mystery Readers Group meets online on the third Wednesday of each month, with a different topic or guest author at each meeting. First-timers are always welcome!
