Storyteller John Weaver: Legends and Laughter

Thursday, September 19, 2019

Our 4th Annual Storytelling Festival continues, with hilarious tales for all ages!

Wild journeys, hilarious misunderstandings: you never know what you might get when John tells a story—and he seems to be just as surprised as you are!

No registration is necessary for this event, which is especially for big kids--kindergartners on up--along with their adults.

About John Weaver
The Menlo Park Library's own Storyteller John Weaver performs at schools, libraries, museums, and other institutions throughout the Bay Area and well beyond. About Storytelling
Storytelling is telling stories--without using a book. It's an ancient art form that predates libraries, and books, and writing.  According to the National Storytelling Network, "storytelling is the interactive art of using words and actions to reveal the elements and images of a story while encouraging the listener’s imagination. In storytelling, the listener imagines the story."
