Summer Puppetry Festival: Captain Poluto Visits Planet Earth

Sunday, July 28, 2019

Caterpillar Puppets visits with an out-of-this-world show!

This summer, the Belle Haven Branch Library celebrates puppetry in its many forms, by hosting a series of puppet shows by a variety of performers from throughout the Bay Area and beyond!

This week, Caterpillar Puppets presents "Captain Poluto Visits Planet Earth." Many light years away from home, Captain Poluto and his faithful companion Z-bop land their spaceship on our planet, where they make friends with a young earthling named Lewis.

About Caterpillar Puppets
Caterpillar Puppets was created in 1976 by husband and wife team Joe and Ronna Leon. Together they design every aspect of their productions, from writing and puppet making to performing. They have performed internationally, and have received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the California Arts Council, and the San Francisco Education Fund.

This free event received funding support from the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
