City staff and contractors have been busy this year, working hard to maximize the summer school recess period to complete construction projects before school starting this fall! Major construction efforts for the
Santa Cruz Avenue Sidewalks,
Oak Grove-University-Crane Bicycle Improvements,
Willow/US 101 Interchange utility work and citywide street resurfacing program were completed or are nearing completion in August 2017, before most schools resuming later this month. Each of these projects represents years of planning, design and construction. The City appreciates the patience of affected residents and commuters this summer! In particular, the Santa Cruz Avenue Sidewalks project was completed approximately one month ahead of schedule, thanks to the incredible efforts by the City’s Capital Improvement Program section to finish this work early!
