Construction of the Santa Cruz Avenue Sidewalk project is almost done. Thank-you for your patience as staff worked hard to build this important improvement while keeping traffic moving and keeping the public safe. The last major item to complete is repaving the street. The repaving work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 9, 2017, and complete Friday, August 11, 2017. Crews will be grinding the street during the day from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and paving the street at night from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.). During these days, the intersection at University Avenue will be closed intermittently to perform both grinding and paving work. Please use alternate routes during these dates and expect delays in this area.
