Make sure to head out to this year’s
Menlo Movie Series which features nine weeks of free movies, a family friendly atmosphere, beautiful Menlo Park weather, and an overall experience that is sure to please. This year’s Movie Series kicks off the season at the
Onetta Harris Community Center Thursday, July 27 at 8:45 p.m. with Moana. Bring out the family, a blanket, chairs and a snack to enjoy this adventure with Moana and her pot-bellied sidekick Pua.
On Friday, August 4, the fun moves to Curtis Street at Santa Cruz Avenue on the Paseo, with The Secret Life of Pets at 8:30 p.m. The Menlo Park Paseo is the perfect venue to arrive early with your family and peruse the downtown shops or enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many local restaurants.
The series continues on the Paseo every Friday night (start times vary) with movies like Finding Dory, The Lego Batman Movie, Casablanca and Beauty and the Beast (2017). Also, make sure to come out to the City of Menlo Park’s
Summer Block Party Wednesday, August 16 to enjoy food and fun. The Block Party excitement concludes with a special showing of Disney’s Cars (2006) at 8:30 p.m.
Is your family of Jedi’s entangled in the rebellion against the Galactic Empire? Make sure to arrive to our showing of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story at 6:30 p.m. dressed up as your favorite Star Wars character to participate in our costume contest.
