The warm, sunny days means it's also the season for construction. Multiple projects are going on throughout the City of Menlo Park and many are along El Camino Real, so please be cautious and patient when driving around the work zones and plan ahead for possible traffic delays. 

When construction activities are anticipated to impact traffic, contractors are required to prepare traffic control plans and perform the work when impacts will be minimal while maintaining a safe environment for the community and the workers. That means loud activities may be done during the day and traffic lanes may be closed at various hours. Please be patient or take alternate routes.
