New Engineering Services Manager/City Engineer

Azalea Mitch was promoted to the position of Engineering Services Manager/City Engineer in the Public Works Department. In this role, she will help oversee the Capital Improvement Program and Utilities functions and will play a key role in coordinating with other functions in the department, the overall organization and outside agencies. Azalea will also be joining the ranks of the City’s Management Team. 

Having served as a Senior Engineer with Menlo Park since 2014, Azalea has over 20 years of experience working in civil engineering in both the private and public sectors. Azalea holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a Menlo Park resident and enjoys hiking, biking (look out for the Burley!) and culinary adventures.
