Belle Haven After School Program is dedicated to providing greater academic support to our children, therefore the program has reinvented homework time by daily tracking each student's homework, in addition to individual assistance, Belle Haven's staff establishes a record not only for parents (to keep their children accountable) but also as mode of keeping familiar each student's current academic focus. In doing so, members whom are not assigned homework do not merely sit idle while others work; instead, to improve and keep sharp, they are given assignments in parallel with their studies. Although specially aimed at second through fifth-graders, younger members are similarly engaged. Each day, the staff facilitates basic learning and cognitive engagement through worksheets and activities centering on the alphabet, number sense, phonetics and simple arithmetic. Belle Haven After School Program has always been a lot of fun, now it strives more purposefully to help its members learn. For more information, contact Rondell Howard.
