The Belle Haven Pool has been closed since Feb. 22 when the pool circulation pump failed. The circulation pump is an essential piece of equipment that circulates the pool water through the filtration system to meet the required pool water turnover rates as specified by the California health and safety code. City staff is working closely with pool operator, Team Sheeper, Inc., and with pool maintenance contractors to get the pool back up and running. The pool is expected to reopen to the public Mar. 10.

During the closure changes to programming include: a) youth water polo moved to Burgess Pool on a reduced schedule due to space conflicts, b) community lap swimming diverted to Burgess Pool, and c) synchronized swimming has been canceled until the pool reopens.

The City and Team Sheeper apologize for any inconvenience that the closure may have caused the Belle Haven Pool users.
