Last Friday, Nov. 4, was the annual Fall Festival at the Belle Haven Child Development Center. Festivities included a petting zoo complete with goats, chickens, a potbelly pig, fluffy rabbits and even a llama! The zoo provided an opportunity for a hands-on experience with a variety of friendly animals. The festival was well decorated of fall colors and final touches of haystacks scattered throughout the pumpkin patch where each child had the chance to choose a pumpkin and decorate it. The event had 75 children participating as well as parents joining in the fun. The family participation showed great support and was a great way of connecting with other families in the program.
