The
City/County Association of Governments (C/CAG) of San Mateo County invites the public to one of the upcoming workshops on the countywide transportation plan. The workshops will provide an opportunity to learn more about the plan, ask questions and offer feedback. The
San Mateo Countywide Transportation Plan 2040 (SMCTP 2040) is a long-range, comprehensive transportation planning document intended to articulate clear transportation planning goals and objectives to promote consistency and compatibility among all transportation plans and programs within the county. A draft version of the SMCTP 2040 was developed by C/CAG in coordination with study partners, including the San Mateo County Transportation Authority and the San Mateo County Transit District. The draft plan is now available for public comment and C/CAG will host a series of
public workshops in September 2016, including one on Sept. 29 in Menlo Park. The final plan is expected to be complete in late 2016 or early 2017. You can view more information and complete an
online survey about the plan on the
C/CAG website.
