This is one of the best years to celebrate Halloween in Menlo Park. Continuing the fun from this weekend’s annual downtown Halloween Hoopla parade & trick-or-treating, here are some of the highlights for the week leading up to All Hallow's Eve:

Ghostbusters Quote-Along on Tues, Oct. 28
Community Services and Guggenheim Entertainment have teamed up to bring an interactive fun-filled evening to the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center. Come dressed in costume as you act-along and quote-along to our favorite ghost removal service movie on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014, from 6:30-8:30 pm. Admission is $5.00 per person or FREE if you wear your Halloween costume. Tickets and additional information can be found on the City’s website. Don’t forget to RSVP early to receive a special “Fun Pack” which contains items to help you play along during the movie. This Ghostbusters Quote-along event is part of Cinemenlo, our indoor community movie series. The movie series continues with Free Birds on Nov. 20th and Elf on Dec. 19th.

Halloween Spooky Carnival on Oct. 29th
Get ready for a spooky fun-filled time at the Halloween Spooky Carnival! Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 29th from 4:00-6:00 pm, at the Onetta Harris Community Center, for fun games, yummy snacks, a costume contest, candy guess and free face-painting! Don’t forget to wear your costume.

Goblins, Ghouls and Ghosts on Halloween Night, Oct. 31st
On Friday, October 31st, bring your goblins, ghouls and ghosts for a trick-or-treating stop at the Belle Haven Neighborhood Service Center & Substation for Halloween night. The Menlo Park Police Department and neighboring businesses will be handing out candy, glow sticks and more.
