Menlo Park’s management team will spend Thursday, June 23, focusing on innovation and open communication as they strategize effective ways to ensure the City “gets stuff done” and makes progress on the City Council’s ambitious 72-item work plan
. The team is comprised of department and division heads and fully staffed for the first time in several years. Team members will take public transportation to San Francisco and meet for the day in a public park. The agenda includes opportunities to build the management team, discuss challenges and opportunities facing the city and improve communications across the organization. Shawn Spano, professor of communication studies at San Jose State University, will facilitate again.
