Menlo Children’s Center preschool celebrated its 30th annual preschool graduation June 17. The graduating class had 22 children from both the Preschool full-day program and the Morning Birds half-day program. The graduates sang “Slippery Fish” in both English and Spanish along with “Juanito.” Following graduation, all families enjoyed a picnic luncheon on the lawn. This first-time post-graduation gathering proved to be a great success.

Friday, June 24, the Belle Haven Child Development Center hosts its annual preschool graduation celebration in the center’s front plaza. The celebration expects to draw over 200 proud friends and family members to congratulate the 60 graduates. The children will perform the song “De Colores,” in English and Spanish as well as “We’re moving up to kindergarten!” 

Every year it is hard to say goodbye and the teachers always miss the children, but they are grateful to have been a part of their lives. All of the graduating children will attend various kindergarten programs in the community. We wish all the graduates the best as they start a new chapter in their young lives. Congratulations to both graduating classes of 2016!
