On Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 6-8 p.m., the Onetta Harris Community Center hosted its annual Volunteer/Instructor dinner. Over 40 participants received recognition for their outstanding yearly service at Onetta Harris. There has been a variety of new programs at the center to include: Zumba, 2nd Harvest, Mouse Squad, soul line dancing, kickboxing, special events, etc.
Without these volunteers and instructors, there would be limited classes to offer to the community. This program has grown since it originated in 2009 with only 20 participants. It is wonderful to see the increased volunteers/instructors throughout the years. Onetta Harris Community Center staff greatly appreciates these outstanding recipients.
