On Nov. 2, 2015, the
Planning Commission unanimously approved a three-story office building with two underground parking levels located at 1010-1026 Alma Street in the
El Camino Real/Downtown Specific Plan area. The project is being developed at the Public Benefit Bonus level and includes the provision of public plazas along Alma Street, coffee/food services, two public electric vehicle charging stations, three public bicycle racks and a one-time financial contribution to the City. The project reflects the success of the Specific Plan in helping to expedite review by following the standards and guidelines outlined in the Plan and using the Environmental Impact Report prepared for the Plan. The Planning Commission acted as the final decision-making body for the project, unless appealed to the
City Council. More detailed information on the project is provided on the
project webpage.
