The Belle Haven Library is hosting a series of upcoming events. First up, on Oct. 15 at 12:30 p.m., there will be a Fire Department Storytime. In honor of the 100-year anniversary of the Menlo Park Fire Protection District, the library will host a visit from our local firefighters. They will bring their firetruck, read stories and talk about fire safety.
On Friday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m., there will be a Pumpkin Decorating and Carving event. All the pumpkins will be displayed for a week and winners for best decorated and best carved pumpkins will be judged. And, at the end of the month, “Halloween at Belle Haven Library” will take place the following Friday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. There will be a costume parade around the block, a costume contest, and sugar skull decorating.
