The Police Department invites the community to our own version of “Friday Night Lights.”  This community loves football, and so do the officers of MPPD!  Join us on Friday, September 12th, at the Neighborhood Service Center (871 Hamilton Avenue) to enjoy some pizza, get to know each other, and have some fun.  The night will begin with a community “tailgate party” (5:30 - 6:30 pm) for anyone who wants to stop by and enjoy the festivities (pizza, popcorn, soda, and water will be provided). We will be introducing our officers, as well as recognizing the local Menlo-Atherton Pop Warner team.  The MPPD team will be there to talk and give away memorabilia. The MPPD Friday Night Lights event will remove the physical barriers between officers and residents, and allow for relaxed interactions in a friendly and fun atmosphere so please stop by.
