A building permit was issued this week for the newest Facebook building, located at 300 Constitution Drive, also referred to as Building 23. It is an extensive renovation of an existing building located at the west end of the former Tyco property acquired by Facebook last year. The building will retain the exterior walls and perimeter foundation while receiving a completely new look with a raised roof and open floorplan. The remodel is being designed by Frank Gehry and will feature some of the unique architectural style found on Building 20 (west campus) that was completed in March. The 180,000 square foot building is scheduled to be completed in early 2016.
