Stephanie Fitch, member of the Ravenswood City School  District Board of Trustees, has resigned from her seat on the Board, effective October 22, 2020. The Board of Trustees, at its meeting of October 29, 2020, has opted to fill the vacancy created by this resignation through provisional appointment. 

Appointment requirements
To be eligible for appointment, an applicant must meet the following prerequisites:

• A registered voter who resides within the geographic boundaries of the Ravenswood City School District
• At least 18 years of age
• A citizen of the state
• An individual cannot both serve as a board member and be an employee of the district

Applications for provisional appointment to the Board of Trustees will be accepted until 5 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2020. Please email your completed application and any attachment(s) to the Board Subcommittee. 

A subcommittee of the Board of Trustees will review applications to confirm that they meet the eligibility criteria for appointment. Candidates who meet these criteria will be interviewed by the Board at a special board meeting on December 3, 2020.
