In December 2014, a request for qualifications was sent to over 20 water consultants to determine who might be interested in submitting proposals to develop the City’s water master plan. In January, staff received eight RFQ statements from interested consultants, which were narrowed to the three best qualified in relation to the RFQ document. These consultants were invited to submit proposals based on a scope of work from the City Council’s 2015 goals for the water master plan. The three responses will be evaluated over the next month in anticipation of the City Council’s award of contract tentatively planned for May 2015.
