Last Thursday, February 27, 2015, the
California Park and Recreation Society’s annual District 4 awards and volunteer recognition dinner brought over 100 area professionals to the
Arrillaga Family Recreation Center. On this special evening, CPRS honored outstanding individuals for their professional and volunteer contributions to the fields of parks, recreation and human services including awards for professional merit, distinguished professional award for lifetime achievement, the award of excellence which recognizes outstanding projects or programs in the categories of recreation programming, promoting healthy communities, parks planning, facility design or other related areas. In recent years, the
Arrillaga Family Gymnastics Center and
Gymnasium were winners in the facility design category.
