The German-American International School recently submitted a use permit and architectural control application to relocate from 275 Elliott Drive (O’Connor School site) to 475 Pope Street (Menlo Oaks School site). The proposed educational program would include pre-school through 12th grade, with the high school program phased in over a four-year period. GAIS would use the existing buildings on the approximately 3.9-acre portion of the existing public school site. Proposed site improvements include five new portable classrooms, a new play space, storage sheds, and expansion of the existing parking lot.
