Posted on February 3, 2020 at 9:01 pm by Clay Curtin

The March 3, 2020, presidential primary election is fast approaching and the San Mateo County Registration and Elections Division is looking for community service-oriented people to help County election staff. The Elections Office is recruiting for a variety of positions that include helping at vote centers, testing elections equipment, processing ballots and administrative assistance. The office is also seeking multilingual staff to work at vote centers, particularly those who speak Spanish, Chinese, Korean or Tagalog.

There are also opportunities for students through the Student Democracy Program! Find out how you can contribute toward our democracy by becoming an election worker with the San Mateo County Elections Division.

The San Mateo County Registration and Elections Division is beginning to mail the sample ballot and voter information pamphlet for the March 3, 2020, presidential primary election to registered voters. Voters may also view their voter pamphlet online in either PDF or accessible format by visiting smcvote.org. Voters may also join the Go Green! Program to view their pamphlets online only.
