Since September 2018, the County has been working with a task force comprised of residents and stakeholders, to address safety and connectivity concerns for pedestrians/bicyclists/drivers on the corridor, between Sand Hill Road and Avy Avenue.
Through this collaboration, the County has developed a set of conceptual design alternatives, while recognizing the advantages and disadvantages each design alternative will have to all travel modes.
The County of San Mateo invites Menlo Park residents that share concerns about the Santa Cruz Avenue/Alameda de las Pulgas Road corridor to participate in an upcoming community meeting January 30, 2020. The meeting will be held at the Las Lomitas Elementary School - Cano Hall, from 7–9 p.m.
At this meeting, participants will learn about the design alternatives, competing interests/priorities, and provide feedback that will help the County prioritize competing enhancements into the final design.
