With the passage of Measure W, new funding for transportation is coming to San Mateo County. The San Mateo County Transportation Authority (SMCTA) will administer funds in multiple categories including pedestrian, bicycle and highway improvements, grade separations, regional transit connections and a portion that goes to local cities for their safety, pothole and congestion relief needs.
Currently, SMCTA is developing a
strategic plan to determine how to evaluate projects so that those of greatest merit are prioritized for future funding. Please take the
Strategic Plan 2020-2024 survey and tell us what matters to you! The survey will be open until June 30, 2019.
