The
Transportation Master Plan Oversight and Outreach Committee will discuss the project prioritization system identified for the
Transportation Master Plan at its upcoming meeting April 23, 2019, at 6 p.m. in the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center. The
meeting agenda will be published the evening of Thursday, April 18.
The Transportation Master Plan will help identify appropriate projects that enhance the transportation network, provide for community engagement to ensure projects meet the community’s goals and values and prioritize projects based on implementation needs. When completed, the master plan will provide a detailed vision, set goals and performance metrics and outline an implementation strategy for local improvements as well as local contributions toward regional improvements. It will serve as an update to the City’s
Bicycle and Sidewalk Plans.
Concurrently, the City is updating its
Transportation Impact Fee program, which will modernize the City’s fee program to collect funds for construction and implementation of improvements included in the master plan.
