Although every day at the City’s gymnastics program is “super hero day,” everyone enjoyed celebrating March 11-16 as Super Hero Week. Instructors all sported personally designed capes with their favorite super hero emblems. The children had an opportunity to overcome the obstacle course using their super hero strength and coordination as they walked on tight ropes, climbed wiggly cargo nets, and flew over shark infested waters. All class levels participated in the activity. The pre-school children’s super hero efforts were rewarded at the end of class with Captain America, Wonder Woman, Batman and other super hero stamps. The school-aged children made up their own super hero names and made fun of the teachers.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in our gymnastics classes, registration is currently open for the spring session. The session will begin on Wednesday, April 3. Please visit
