Assistant Public Works Director
Two positions managing Engineering Services and Transportation Divisions

Each Assistant Director will be assigned areas of responsibility, which may include overseeing the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP), utility functions, transportation and land development. The Public Works Director will work with candidates’ strengths and interests to make these assignments, in alignment with the City’s operational needs.
Three positions available
The Special Events Recreation Coordinator will curate, schedule and manage all aspects of Menlo Park events. We offer a movie series, a concert series, July 4th, Egg Hunt, Kite Day and other holiday themed events. The new coordinator will have the opportunity to create new special events as well as manage the current events. Additionally, the City has a joint use agreement to produce events in a theater.
The Recreation Center Coordinator will manage all aspects of our freshly renovated Arrillaga Recreation Center. The center offers a wide variety of contract classes, facility rentals and a robust summer camp program.
Child Care Recreation Coordinator
You would join a committed and professional team at Menlo Children’s Center, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children and families. We serve the diverse population of reoccurring families, been in operation for close to 30 years and have a low staff turnover rate. We value inspiring, through play and a lifelong love of learning.
